Every commercial and industrial property needs effective and
reliable ventilation. Insufficient fresh air can cause tiredness, fatigue, and
headaches, which will impact negatively on employee concentration and
performance. By installing a high-quality mechanical ventilation system, you
can guarantee a continuous supply of fresh, filtered air throughout your
premises, resulting in a healthier more productive working environment.
Our team of skilled engineers have experience in all types of installation from single unit systems, to large scale commercial projects. Whatever your needs, be they bespoke rectangular sections or pre manufactured spiral sections, or plain and simple plastic ducting, we are here to assist you from the initial design through to final completion.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our installations and we will only source products from the leading ventilation and air conditioning manufactures (e.g. LG, Vent-Axia, Nuaire and Daikin) so you can be sure of a reliable ventilation system that will work effectively for many years to come.
Atlantic Air are specialist commissioning engineers, offering a comprehensive range of services in the commissioning of mechanical ventilation systems for industrial and commercial customers throughout Ireland and the UK.
We have a wealth of knowledge and invaluable experience in the ventilation commissioning industry. We work to the CIBSE commissioning Codes of Practice and the BSRIA Application Guides for Mechanical Ventilation Systems. We ensure that all recently installed mechanical ventilation systems are monitored and thoroughly tested, before commissioning them for use, providing relevant certification to the necessary parties.
We also offer our clients continued lifetime support by means of planned preventative maintenance, response maintenance and system inspection and monitoring services, thus ensure the mechanical ventilation system operates as desired.
Ventilation is a primary solution step to mitigate employee
welding fume exposure. Because welding fume is a thermal process, the
particulate is suspended in the ambient air space. When the fume plume cools,
the particulate settles to the workspace. It builds up on workstations and can
infiltrate machinery and electronics causing damage and creating the need for
additional housekeeping, which can add another layer of maintenance and
overhead cost. Atlantic Air can source and install a wide range of welding fume
extraction arms in different designs with full flexibility and are easy to
position to fit many applications.
Woodworking may also release dust and fibres that are
harmful to human lungs and/ or can cause severe allergic reactions. Extraction
arms are especially suitable for light airborne dust generated by cutting,
grinding, and sanding timber. The arms are connected to a fan and dust
collector system removing the contaminants from the extracted air, so that it
can be returned to the atmosphere or recycled without negative effects. They
are fully flexible in all directions and easy to position, thus covering a
large work area and/or several smaller workstations.
Atlantic Air can source a wide range of arms in different
designs, arm lengths, hose diameters and various hood designs. Different
attachments are available for wall, ceiling or extension bracket mounting as
well as a number of accessories, including hoods and dampers to improve
Our continued commitment to providing a fast, effective and reliable service has enabled us to undertake a wide variety of commissioning contracts for a large number of clients, across a variety of sectors, some of which include;
